Renée Rasmussen – LO Confederal Secretary
Renée Rasmussen was elected Confederal Secretary at the LO-congress in 2013. Renée is born on July 15th 1968. She was the President of the Norwegian Musicians‘ Union before she came to LO.
Renée was elected President of the Norwegian Musicians‘ Union on the 12th of February in 2009, where she was Vice President from 2002. Renée is a trained Oboist from the Norwegian Academy of Music and she is still on leave from her job in the Royal Norwegian Navy Band in Horten. Until 2002 she was the head of the Norwegian Musicians‘ Union in Vestfold, Buskerud and Telemark.
Renée is a Board member of the LO Cartel for State Employees and a deputy member of the LO Secretariat. She is a board member at the Fund for Performing Artists, Gramo, Norwaco and Music Industry Legal Aid Fund. Renée is also a board member of the Nordic Musician Union and the International Federation of Musicians (FIM).
