General Manager, BBC Symphony Orchestra

Paul Hughes trained at Trinity College of Music. He has been General Manager of the Academy of Ancient Music, Artist Manager at IMG Artists, General Manager of the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra, Chief Executive of the RSNO and is currently General Manager of BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and BBC Singers.

He is a governor of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a board member of London Contemporary Opera, and holds honorary fellowships of Trinity Laban and the Royal College of Music.
